1984年7月29日，13岁的瓜迪奥拉加盟巴萨青训系统，巴萨官方账号在社交媒体上晒出瓜迪奥拉青训时代的照片。

瓜迪奥拉球员生涯为巴萨出战384场比赛，贡献11粒进球和56次助攻，帮助球队赢得15座冠军奖杯，包括1991-1992赛季欧冠奖杯。

瓜迪奥拉退役后走上执教岗位，2007年到2008年担任巴萨B队主帅，2008年到2012年执教巴萨一线队，带队赢得14座冠军奖杯，包括2座欧冠奖杯。
